Canon: Centaurworld
Canon Point: End of Season One
Character History: Here
Canon Abilities: Horse has a few Centaurworld abilities:
-Talking tail: Her tail can talk! However, it only tells jokes.

-Rainbow tears: She can cry rainbow tears.
-Illogical horse physics: Horse can do things in that normal horses can't do, like stand on her hind legs, touch her face with her hooves, basically bend her legs in ways that normal horses can't.
-Shoot Tiny Versions of Herself from Her Hooves: What it says on the tin. Although this is an ability she only finds out she has in Season 2.
Inventory: None.
🦋 Personality
Option 1: Answer the following questions. Elaborate on the answer, especially your characters thoughts and feelings surrounding the answer. For Canon Characters, you can choose four questions. For Original Characters, you will need to choose six questions. Keep the word count to 150-400 per question.
- Has your character always believed in magic? Do they have something influencing their perspective on the supernatural/metaphysical/spiritual from their past? How do they feel about magic?
- What mythological creature would your character most like to be? Which do they identify with? Which would they dread being? Feel free to use our Bestiary for reference.
- If your character could ask for one wish, and it's going to be magically granted without any consequence, what will it be and why?
- Your character gets to return home, but when they do they learn that they've been gone for hundreds of years. How do they react?
[cw: suicide warning]
This would honestly devastate Horse. It's possible that the war in Horse's world would be over, and that Horse's world would return to peace. But Horse would know that Rider is dead - either from battle or old age. Her centaur friends would most likely be dead too, and Horse would no longer have a purpose as a war horse. When Horse thought she was losing the ability to remember Rider she let herself be devoured by a whaletaur, so being with Rider is everything to Horse. And while Wammawink pulled Horse out of her attempted suicide, without Wammawink, Horse will have no one to pull her back from the brink. With all of her family dead and her purpose in life gone, she won't be able to return to normal life. Most likely, she'll wander forever seeking new purpose, unable to cope with the fact that everyone she loves is gone. Knowing she failed to be there for Rider and her herd would be too much for her and she wouldn't be able to function. It would absolutely break her in every possible way.
Before Centaurworld, Horse didn't even know what magic even was. She's only introduced to magic during her arrival in Centaurworld, and granted, Centaurworld magic is a little weird. Horse has always been grounded in reality - there was no magic where she's from, just war and violence. She doesn't believe in the supernatural, just focused on staying alive from day to day. Centaurworld shatters her worldview, as it's full of color, magic, and friendly creatures. Completely opposite of what's in her home world, as there's danger around every corner. Horse has no desire for magic of her own. In fact she starts freaking out when she starts getting her own magic, like her magical talking tail. However, she's not opposed to using the magic of others to get what she wants. She knows she can't navigate Centaurworld and return home to Rider without the magic from the centaurs. She can't even leave to go find Rider until Wammawink undoes the magical dome that keeps her herd safe, so Horse convinces them all to go with her on her journey to find Rider. While Centaurworld magic is weird and not something Horse really wants, she is okay with having some magic. Such as her backstory magic - she willingly uses it to discover the backstories of her friends. So as long as the magic is something not embarrassing (like a talking tail), she's okay with having it, but she wouldn't be upset if she had no magic of her own.
Honestly if Horse was forced to be a mythological creature, she'd probably pick a alicorn. She doesn't want to be anything other than a horse, but if she had to be some kind of magical creature, she'd pick a creature that has a potential murder weapon on her head. That would be her logic. She'd be much more useful to her Rider if she can stab Minotaurs with her face. Her other advantage? Taking on enemies from the sky! She'd have a great advantage being a flying horse, being able to carry her Rider through the skies as they descend and kill enemies. Also, better view of the battlefield. When she recruits the birdtaurs for her army against the Nowhere King, that's her reasoning for putting up with their demands - she needs eyes in the sky for their upcoming war. If she can do that herself, then great! As far as things she'd dread being, probably a centaur. She loves her centaur friends, but the extra limbs and human-ness of a centaur would really freak her out. Honestly she'd hate being any other creature other than something that's horse-like. She wants her Rider to be able to recognize her, as well as serve her purpose of being a war horse. Horse panicked when her body changed to fit Centaurworld's aesthetic, she couldn't handle being another creature that's not a horse.
There's only one thing that Horse would want from a wish, and that's for the Nowhere King to never exist. At her current canon point, she knows the Nowhere King is bringing an army to destroy Centaurworld, shattering the peaceful lives of those that live there and devastate the life of her friends. Horse doesn't believe in wishes, because if she did, the war would've ended ages ago. But if she was given the chance with no further consequence, she'd wish for the Nowhere King to no longer exist in either world. It would be tough, because making that wish would mean that she'd never get to go to Centaurworld and meet her friends. But on the other hand, Wammawink wouldn't be an a war orphan, and Horse would get to grow up in a peaceful world - with her mother and father. While she wouldn't have those connections who made her who she is, she'd see it as a win for everyone. No violence, no war. Everyone gets to go on in peace. The only thing that would hurt is the possibility that she might never to get to meet Rider, but if it means creating a peaceful world for Rider, she's okay with that. Horse doesn't realize that this could sacrifice everyone's relationships with their loved ones, or sacrifice their growth as people, she just wants everyone to be finally safe and happy. But that's always been the problem with Horse, she thinks she knows what's best, even when she doesn't.
